About Austin Cleaning Services

John Austin founded his Montreal Cleaning Company and commenced operations in the spring of 1982 and Austin Cleaning Services was formed.

Initially providing Carpet, Rug & Upholstery Steam Cleaning Services covering the western districts of Montreal namely Westmount, Hampstead, Cote-St-Luc, Ville Mont-Royal, Outremont, Montreal West, Notre-Dame-de-Grace, Cote-des-Neiges then the West Island and thereafter the whole of Greater Montreal including Laval, the South Shore and surrounding areas.

He subsequently expanded suppling Facility Maintenance, Building Janitorial Services, and Business Office Cleaning on a contractual routine and regular client basis.

Soon after offering Post Construction and After Renovation Cleaning and a niche specialized 'Total Clean Up' Service of Move In or Out detailed and final Cleaning and we believe the first offering and to coin the phrase "Grand-Ménage" - advertising extensively in the yellow pages - well before the Internet was created! 

The business started with the owner himself cold calling prospective individual commercial clients during the day and then residential prospects during the evenings slowly developing a Client base, one by one, and with providing an efficient and quality and results orientated services with the willingness of customers satisfaction led to hundreds and now many thousands of steady repeat and referral ongoing clientele.

Soon after a sales staff was hired, trained and supervised working in a booking room and cold calling with a personalized script infused with a pleasant, courteous and non-pushy approach, well received by recipients and decades before the era of nonstop, aggressive and harassing solicitations that have become the unruly and uncomfortable norm of today.

John Austin, the Owner himself, now fields most all the Customer Service phone calls and Inquires himself daily from 9 AM to 10 PM providing exceptional live Customer Service!
